Job Requirements

  • must be at least 20 years of age
  • high school diploma or GED equivalent required
  • minimum of two years of customer service experience in relevant industries
  • height and weight must allow for safe aircraft operation including sitting in a jump seat fastening the harness without modifications and navigating the cabin aisle
  • must possess a valid US or foreign passport with applicable visas with documentation valid through at least December 31 2026
  • must have legal right to work in the United States and unrestricted ability to travel to served destinations
  • must be willing to relocate based on company operational needs with potential bases including BOS CLT DCA DFW LGA LAX MIA ORD PHL or PHX
  • must be available to work nights weekends holidays and extended hours
  • must be able to report for on-call reserve duty at assigned base which may continue for an undetermined period
  • must professionally represent the American Airlines brand in uniform with no visible tattoos no more than one earring per ear and no facial piercings

Job Qualifications

  • high school diploma or GED equivalent required
  • minimum of two years of customer service experience in industries such as retail hospitality food service education aviation or social services
  • strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • ability to remain composed under pressure
  • proficiency in multiple languages is a plus but not required
  • capability to meet strict uniform and appearance guidelines including no visible tattoos no facial piercings and limited earrings
  • valid US or foreign passport with applicable visas and legal work authorization in the United States

  • providing exceptional in-flight service including serving hot and cold meals beverages and selling onboard products
  • handling a wide variety of customer-facing situations with professionalism and care
  • operating in diverse global environments including various climates and time zones
