Job Requirements
- Entry-level position with no prior flight experience necessary
- Must complete a 6-week paid training program at JetBlue University in Orlando, FL
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, customer-service oriented environment
- Willingness to travel frequently including overnight and multi-day trips
- Must be able to pass background checks and FAA certifications
- Full availability for flexible scheduling including weekends and holidays
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Ability to work flexible schedules including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Strong interpersonal skills with a compassionate attitude
- No prior flight attendant experience required
- Successful completion of FAA-mandated safety and emergency training
Job Duties
- Greet customers by name and provide exceptional passenger assistance
- Ensure passenger safety by adhering to all FAA safety procedures
- Manage challenging situations onboard with compassion and professionalism
- Perform on-the-spot service recovery to enhance customer experience
- Collaborate with Inflight and Flight Deck crew members to ensure safe and timely flights
- Adapt to flexible schedules including day shifts, night shifts, red-eyes, weekends and holidays
- Participate in comprehensive safety and service training programs
