CommuteAir is a dedicated regional airline and a proud partner of United Airlines, operating over 1,600 weekly flights that connect people and their communities to the world through United's extensive global network. Job Requirements
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States
- Must possess a valid United States or foreign passport with applicable visas
- Must have the right to travel freely in and out of the United States to all cities served by CommuteAir without restriction
- Satisfactory 10-year background history including criminal background
- Ability to comply with company uniform and grooming standards while on duty
- Our policies do not allow for any visible tattoos or piercings other than in the ears
- Must demonstrate professionalism and maintain appearance
- Must have good listening skills and ability to ask questions for clarification
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- Minimum 2 years of customer service experience
- Fluent in English language, both written and spoken
- Ability to maintain professionalism and composure at all times
- Excellent communication skills including verbal and written interaction
- Strong reading comprehension skills
- Basic mathematics skills to solve problems and complete paperwork
- Ability to evaluate new information for problem-solving and decision making
Job Duties
- Ensure safety standards on board are met and passengers comply with applicable FAA and company regulations and policies
- Provide outstanding customer service and assist passengers while on board representing CommuteAir and United Airlines
- Complete necessary checklists and paperwork and reports as outlined in the Flight Attendant Manual
- Communicate effectively with pilots and ground crew to ensure efficient and safe operation of flights
- Be prepared to handle emergencies at any time during a flight
- Comply with company policies as outlined in the Flight Attendant Manual and Employee Handbook
- Perform other duties as assigned and agreed upon in the applicable Collective Bargaining Agreement
