Job Requirements

  • 21 years of age or older at time of application
  • high school graduate or GED
  • one or more years of customer service experience
  • clear and organized speaking ability
  • fluent English
  • ability to hear all types and ranges of sound
  • professional grooming and adherence to uniform and tattoo policies
  • ability to operate phones, tablets, and laptops
  • possession of a valid passport with 18 months validity
  • ability to travel to United’s served countries without restrictions
  • physical ability to stand, walk, kneel, bend, lift heavy objects, and push beverage carts
  • ability to pass functional reach assessment
  • ability to sit in jump seat with safety restraints
  • serve and sell food and beverages diligently
  • legal work authorization in the US
  • willingness to work flexible schedules
  • pass water evacuation drill
  • pass DOT drug screen and background check
  • meet FAA hearing and vision standards

Job Qualifications

  • high school graduate or GED
  • two or more years of college preferred
  • at least one year of customer service experience
  • ability to speak clearly and loudly
  • fluent in English
  • effective communication in stressful situations
  • professional grooming and appearance
  • ability to operate electronic devices proficiently
  • valid passport with at least 18 months of remaining validity
  • legal authorization to work in the United States
  • ability to meet FAA hearing and vision requirements
  • ability to pass background checks and drug screens
