Job Requirements
- Minimum age 23 years
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid driver’s license, good driving record, and valid passport
- Authorized to work in the United States and able to travel in and out of the country
- Fluent in English
- Pass DOT pre-employment drug screen and ongoing random testing
- Pass 10-year background check, criminal history review, fingerprinting, and reference checks
- Successful completion of Contour’s Flight Attendant Initial Training Program
- Ability to work variable schedules including nights, weekends, holidays, and duty periods up to 16 hours
- Must live within one hour of assigned domicile
- Able to lift 75 lbs with or without reasonable accommodation
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Commitment to safe, professional work practices in compliance with regulatory requirements
- Must live in the tri-state area within 2-hour driving distance to local airports including Teterboro and White Plains
- Must be willing to work nights, weekends, holidays, and be away from home for extended periods
- Must be able to open emergency exits and close aircraft doors weighing up to 60 pounds and push/pull carts requiring 32 lbs of force
- Ability to adjust to a rotating schedule with variable days off and hours ranging from 2 to 16 hours per duty day.
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Successful completion of Contour’s four-week Flight Attendant Initial Training Program
- Strong interpersonal skills with a polished, professional, and customer-focused attitude
- Proven ability to work effectively with a variety of personalities and in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
- Demonstrated leadership and organizational skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Self-motivated with the ability to maintain a positive attitude under pressure
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple complex tasks simultaneously
- Fluent in English, bilingual preferred but not required
- Valid driver’s license and good driving record
- Authorized to work in the United States and able to travel internationally.
Job Duties
- Perform required work duties in an aircraft environment
- Perform all work activities in accordance with established standards, policies, laws, and regulations, including Federal Aviation Administration regulations
- Use all galley/cabin service equipment and in-flight entertainment system unsupervised
- Work independently and as part of a team to accomplish work tasks
- Actively seek to ensure the safety and comfort of customers
- Provide exemplary customer service to satisfy and exceed customer expectations
- Assist with lifting and stowing luggage into overhead bins or other storage areas
- Attend to individuals needing assistance such as unaccompanied minors or individuals with disabilities
- Prepare and serve meals, snacks, and drinks
- Maintain professional appearance and positive attitude
- Manage time and complete required work assignments punctually
- Respond to emergency situations by implementing instructions and safety procedures
- Provide emergency medical assistance such as CPR and basic first aid
- Make onboard public address announcements and perform safety demonstrations
- Open emergency exits and close aircraft doors, and operate beverage/food carts
- Restock the galley following established procedures
- Maintain the appearance and cleanliness of the aircraft cabin, galley, and lavatory
- Comply with safety-conscious behaviors and company policies
- Perform other duties as assigned by management or Pilot-in-Command.
