Job Requirements
- must have at least a high school diploma or equivalent
- able to fluently read speak write and understand english
- successfully complete the company/faa-required in-flight training program
- vision corrected to 20/20
- two years customer service experience or equivalent
- willing to relocate to houston tx (iah) or miami fl (mia)
- able to operate emergency exits and equipment effectively
- able to lift fifty pounds from floor to above shoulders
- able to push beverage carts weighing two hundred fifty pounds or more
- able to reach overhead seventy inches without shoes
- able to stand for extended periods with limited rest
- able to be away from home up to 21 days consecutively
- able to work weekends and holidays
- currently possess a valid passport
- able to obtain all necessary visas and immunizations
- authorized to work in the united states
- pass a 10 year background check drug test and criminal history records check
- must be 21 years or older at application
Job Qualifications
- high school diploma or general education development (ged) diploma
- able to fluently read speak write and understand the english language
- successfully complete flight attendant in-flight training program including initial training and annual continuing education
- vision corrected to 20/20
- minimum two years customer service experience or equivalent
- able to effectively operate all onboard emergency exits and equipment
- authorized to work in the united states
- possess a valid passport and able to obtain necessary visas and immunizations for international travel
- able to pass a ten year background check pre-employment drug test and criminal history records check
- must be 21 years of age or older at the time of application
Job Duties
- reliably show-up on-time ready to work
- maintain high degree of technical competence and comply with all applicable rules and regulations
- assist guests boarding the aircraft and conduct safety and emergency exit briefings during pre-flight
- interact with guests to provide prescribed in-flight services and continuous care and hospitality
- serve as a knowledgeable and gracious host ensuring guest comfort and safety
- complete all company and FAA-required training programs
- operate on both domestic and international flights including to Africa, Europe, and the Middle East
