Job Requirements

  • two years of customer service experience or community service experience
  • able to reach 82 vertical inches without shoes
  • comfortable being in a swimming pool with a life vest during emergency training and in water during an inflight emergency
  • able to properly secure oneself in a jump seat with harness without using a seat belt extension
  • able to expeditiously move through the cabin aisle in emergency and non-emergency situations
  • able to work in an environment subject to varying climatic conditions and cabin pressurization
  • able to stand for up to seventeen hours
  • able to lift 35 pounds
  • willing and able to serve alcohol
  • possess basic technology skills
  • ability and willingness to travel extensively and be away from home overnight
  • must have high school diploma or equivalent
  • must be a U.S. citizen or registered alien with legal right to work
  • must possess or obtain a valid passport with appropriate legal documentation
  • must be 21 years old at application
  • able to read, write and speak English proficiently
  • able to complete pre-employment requirements including drug test and background check
  • current employees must be in good standing and have one year in current role
  • ability to attend FAA-approved intensive unpaid training
  • must meet uniform and appearance standards
  • able to relocate to designated airline bases
  • complete a tuberculosis test

  • capable of standing for extended periods and able to lift 35 pounds
  • willingness to serve alcohol
  • basic technology skills to navigate mobile devices
  • proficiency in English
  • must be at least 21 years old
  • U.S. citizenship or legal right to work in the United States
  • possession or ability to obtain a valid U.S. or foreign passport with appropriate travel documentation
  • ability to pass drug test and background check
  • current employees must be in good standing and have at least one year in current role
  • ability to attend unpaid FAA-approved intensive training
  • must meet uniform and appearance standards
  • able to relocate and work from designated bases
  • complete tuberculosis (TB) test

Job Duties

  • own safety by understanding and complying with all safety regulations
  • ensure all safety equipment on aircraft is in working order and execute emergency procedures as needed
  • support the safety and security of oneself and other crewmembers while on flights, in airport terminals, and during layovers
  • calmly resolve passenger situations including emergencies
  • understand and follow company policies and procedures to complete onboard duties
  • make empowered decisions to benefit guests
  • create an inclusive experience by demonstrating empathy and compassion
  • deliver safe, on-time performance managing inflight service flow and guest recognition using mobile devices
  • act as a brand ambassador both in uniform and on social media
