Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum two years of customer or community service experience
- Able to reach 82 vertical inches without shoes
- Comfortable in swimming pool with life vest during emergency training
- Able to secure oneself in jump seat without extension
- Able to move quickly through aircraft aisles in emergencies
- Able to work in variable climatic and cabin conditions
- Able to stand for extended periods and perform physical activities
- Able to lift 35lbs
- Willing and able to serve alcohol
- Basic technology skills for mobile device navigation
- Willingness to travel extensively and be away overnight for multiple days
- U.S. citizen or registered alien legally authorized to work
- Must possess or obtain current passport with valid travel documentation
- Travel documents must remain valid during training and employment
- Minimum age of 21 at time of application
- Proficient in reading, writing, and speaking English
- Ability to complete pre-employment drug test and background check
- Current employees must have good standing and minimum one year in role
- Ability to attend unpaid FAA-approved intensive training (6 weeks in Seattle for Alaska, 8 weeks in Honolulu for Hawaiian)
- Meet uniform and appearance standards
- Ability to relocate or work from any current or future base for respective airline
- Complete and pass tuberculosis test (Hawaiian)

- Possess or obtain valid passport with six months validity
- Must be at least 21 years old
- Ability to complete drug test and background check
- Current employees in good standing with minimum one year in role
Job Duties
- Own safety by complying with safety regulations and conducting emergency procedures
- Support the safety and security of self and crew during flights, airport terminals, and layovers
- Calmly resolve passenger situations including emergencies
- Adhere to company policies and complete all onboard duties
- Make empowered decisions to rectify guest issues when appropriate
- Create exceptional and inclusive guest experiences with empathy and compassion
- Use inflight mobile devices to manage service flow and recognize elite guests
- Represent the brand with integrity on and off duty, including social media
