Job Requirements
- Eligibility to work in the U.S.
- be at least 21 years of age at time of application
- have a high school diploma, GED, or High School Equivalency
- ability to speak, read, write, and understand English fluently
- ability to acquire and keep current a passport and travel documents
- complete a pre-employment Department of Transportation drug test and comprehensive background check
- ability to sit in an assigned jump seat with seatbelt and shoulder harness fastened
- ability to open emergency exits and close aircraft doors weighing up to 60 pounds
- use of food/beverage cart requiring 32 pounds of force
- demonstrate that privacy is a priority when handling personal data
- embrace a diverse set of people, thinking and styles
- consistently prioritize safety and security
- ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, holidays, and extended hours
- ability to perform physically demanding role requiring frequent standing, walking, bending, stooping, pushing, pulling, reaching, and lifting
- ability to retrieve and store items as high as 74 inches
- willingness to accept assignment to any Flight Attendant base post-training
- ability to complete 7 consecutive weeks of paid training in Atlanta, GA
- flexibility to relocate or commute
- ability to fly international and domestic routes
- willingness to adapt to scheduling changes on short notice
- adherence to all corporate and departmental policies including appearance requirements

Job Qualifications
- High school diploma, GED, or High School Equivalency
- fluency in English including speaking, reading, writing, and understanding
- ability to acquire and maintain valid passport and travel documents
- completion of seven weeks of paid training
- ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays
- strong customer service and communication skills
- ability to handle physically demanding tasks such as lifting and pushing
- willingness to accept assignment to any Flight Attendant base after training
- adherence to Delta's Candidate Appearance and Flight Attendant Appearance Requirements
- embrace diversity and prioritize privacy when handling personal data
Job Duties
- Prioritize the safety and comfort of all passengers
- deliver exceptional customer service
- use problem solving and communication skills to respond to in-flight needs with professionalism
- represent Delta's values with every interaction
- support a global operation with non-traditional business hours including early mornings, late nights, overnights, weekends, and holidays
- practice safety conscious behaviors in all operational processes and procedures
- work both independently and as part of a team to accomplish work tasks
- manage unexpected changes in a time-sensitive and stressful environment
- answer questions and assist customers, particularly those with unique needs
- demonstrate punctuality and reliability by reporting to duty as scheduled
- remain adaptable to last-minute schedule adjustments to ensure uninterrupted service delivery
- demonstrate the use of safety and emergency equipment and ensure safety requirements are met
- administer and coordinate emergency procedures such as CPR and basic first aid when needed
- provide clear and accurate directions to customers in emergencies
- make decisions in line with Delta policies and core values
- prepare, serve, and sell beverages including alcohol and meals
- assist customers with luggage stowing
- ensure passenger comfort during delays or turbulence
- make public address and safety announcements
- perform duties in changing environments including physiological effects at altitude
