Job Requirements
- Authorization to work in the U.S.
- Ability to report and be ready to work at assigned base within 2 hours (2.5 for NYC bases)
- High school diploma, GED or equivalent
- Ability to speak, read, write, and understand English fluently
- Minimum age of 21 years
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Possess and maintain a valid passport and travel documents
- Meet FAA regulations and company policies
- No visible tattoos on hands or fingers
- Ability to cover non-hand/finger tattoos
- No more than two pairs of earrings and one nose piercing permitted
- No ear stretching gauges allowed
- Candidate height must not exceed 5’11.5"
- Ability to reach 6’3" without shoes
- Sit in jumpseat with seatbelt fastened without extension
- Open emergency exits and move aircraft doors and carts as required
- Work in high noise environments
- Ability to work in confined spaces and manage allergens
- Maintain professional appearance as per airline standards
Job Qualifications
- Authorization to work in the U.S.
- High school diploma, GED or equivalent
- BA/BS degree preferred or equivalent experience
- Fluent in English speaking, reading, writing, and comprehension
- Minimum 21 years of age
- Ability to work flexible schedules including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Valid passport and travel documents
- At least one year of customer service experience
- Ability to maintain professional conduct and appearance
- Familiarity with mobile handheld devices
- Ability to complete four weeks of Flight Attendant Initial Training
- Successfully complete Initial Operating Experience
Job Duties
- Ensure the safety and comfort of customers by providing exceptional service
- Project and maintain a positive attitude and composure
- Perform work activities in accordance with FAA regulations and company policies
- Respond effectively during emergency situations including providing medical assistance
- Prepare and serve meals, snacks, and beverages and process payments
- Provide assistance to customers with luggage and special needs
- Communicate clearly during safety demonstrations, public announcements, and customer interactions
- Ensure compliance with all policies, procedures, and safety regulations
- Work independently and as part of a team to complete tasks
- Manage time effectively and adapt to changing schedules
- Maintain professional appearance and adherence to uniform guidelines
- Use mobile devices and computers to carry out job responsibilities
- Accurately complete paperwork and reports as required
