Job Requirements

  • must be legally authorized to work in the United States
  • willingness and ability to work flexible schedules supporting 24/7 operations including weekdays, weekends, holidays on scheduled and reserve days
  • ability to complete pre-employment drug screening, background checks, fingerprinting, and vision/hearing tests
  • must pass a 10-year background check including criminal history not restricting travel to United destinations
  • must pass FAA/DOT drug screenings including prohibition of marijuana
  • must successfully complete evacuation drills during training
  • ability to sit in assigned jump seat with seatbelt and shoulder harness fastened
  • required to serve and/or sell food and beverages including alcohol professionally
  • tattoos not permitted on head, hands, fingers, neck, or ears and visible tattoos must be covered or not offensive
  • no decorative covers or jewelry on teeth or in mouth
  • ability to travel internationally without restrictions
  • must meet all grooming and uniform standards
  • must pass functional reach assessments
  • must have physical fitness to fulfill all lifting and movement requirements

Job Qualifications

  • 21 years of age or older at time of application
  • high school graduate or GED with two or more years of college preferred
  • at least one year of customer service experience in service industry such as retail, hospitality, food, teaching, aviation, or social service
  • ability to speak clearly, concisely, and loudly enough to be heard in an emergency
  • fluency in English with proficiency in a second language highly desirable
  • ability to hear all types and ranges of sound
  • professional appearance and willingness to follow uniform, hair, tattoo, and piercing guidelines
  • ability to operate electronic devices such as phones, tablets, and laptops
  • possession of a valid passport with at least 18 months validity and eligibility to travel globally without restrictions
  • ability to stand, walk, kneel, bend, and lift heavy objects up to 250 lbs
  • ability to pass FAA and DOT hearing and vision requirements
