Job Requirements
- Must maintain a well-groomed, professional appearance
- body piercings limited to single ear piercings only
- no visible tattoos or body art while in uniform or training
- no extreme hair or nail colors or styles
- all government-issued identification must have the same first and last name as the passport
- willing and able to attend training in Dallas/Fort Worth, TX including unpaid portions
- upon training completion, willing and able to relocate immediately to an assigned Flight Attendant crew base in Chicago, Dallas/Fort Worth, Miami, or Phoenix without reimbursement
- crew bases awarded based on seniority and operational needs
- employment governed by contract with the Association of Flight Attendants
- must fulfill FAA criminal background checks for airport security access
- must secure appropriate airport authority and/or US Customs security badges if applicable
- comply with federal Department of Transportation drug and alcohol testing requirements before hiring
- possess no criminal history affecting travel or employment
- must have ability to physically perform duties in confined aircraft spaces
Job Qualifications
- Minimum age 18
- high school diploma or GED equivalent
- height between 5'0 and 6'0 without shoes
- able to fit into a jump seat harness and seat belt without modification
- valid passport with legal right to travel unrestricted to and from all countries served by Envoy
- meet requirements to enter and exit Canada including no criminal history within last five years
- ability to communicate clearly and effectively
- willing and able to work various shifts including days, nights, weekends, holidays, and trips of up to four consecutive overnights
- ability to push, pull, twist, turn, and lift equipment, carts and doors of various weights
- well-groomed professional appearance complying with uniform standards
- legal right to work in the United States
- valid, unexpired, and unsuspended REAL ID-compliant state driver's license or passport
- ability to read, write, speak and understand English fluently
- access to reliable high speed internet and device capable of downloading Microsoft Office Suite
Job Duties
- Greet, direct, and assist passengers
- provide public announcements
- ensure passenger compliance with all safety requirements and federal regulations
- ensure the safety and comfort of passengers
- demonstrate leadership, confidence, and professionalism during passenger inquiries, operational changes, and emergencies
- provide clear and calm instructions during emergencies and be prepared to rapidly evacuate passengers from an aircraft
- assist passengers with special needs, including unaccompanied minors
- effectively diffuse challenging situations involving disorderly, intoxicated, and irate passengers
- care for and assist ill, injured, and incapacitated passengers and administer first aid as needed
- carry out duties in confined spaces of aircraft aisles and galleys
- adapt to frequent changes in the work environment such as flight schedules, variable weather, and environmental conditions
- complete responsibilities timely to contribute to on-time departures and arrivals
