Job Requirements

  • Minimum age 18
  • high school diploma or GED equivalent
  • height between 5'0 and 6'0 without shoes
  • ability to fit into jump seat harness and seat belt without modification
  • valid passport
  • legal right to travel unrestricted to all countries served by Envoy
  • no criminal history within last five years related to Canada travel
  • ability to communicate clearly and effectively
  • willingness and ability to work various shifts including nights, weekends, holidays, and trips up to four consecutive overnights
  • ability to push, pull, twist, turn and lift equipment
  • maintain professional appearance and comply with uniform standards
  • legal right to work in United States
  • valid, unexpired REAL ID-compliant state driver’s license or passport
  • ability to read, write, speak and understand English
  • access to reliable high speed internet and computer capable of downloading Microsoft Office Suite
  • willingness and ability to attend unpaid training in Dallas/Fort Worth, TX
  • willingness and ability to relocate immediately after training to assigned crew base
  • must fulfill FAA criminal background checks
  • must secure airport security and US Customs badges if applicable
  • tattoos/body art not visible in uniform
  • body piercings limited to single ear piercing and not visible
  • no extreme hair or nail colors or styles
  • all government issued IDs must match passport

Job Qualifications

  • ability to communicate clearly and effectively
  • valid passport with legal right to travel unrestricted to all countries served by Envoy
  • must meet all requirements to enter and exit Canada including no criminal history within last five years
  • ability to work various shifts including days, nights, weekends, holidays, and trips lasting up to four consecutive overnights
  • ability to push, pull, twist, turn and lift equipment, carts, and doors
  • maintain well-groomed professional appearance and comply with uniform standards
  • legal right to work in the United States
  • valid, unexpired, and unsuspended REAL ID-compliant state driver’s license or passport
  • ability to read, write, speak and understand English fluently
  • access to reliable high-speed internet and device capable of downloading Microsoft Office Suite
  • preferred one year hospitality experience in hotel, restaurant, or retail
  • prior experience in positions requiring face-to-face public contact
  • college degree preferred

Job Duties

  • Greet, direct, and assist passengers
  • provide public announcements
  • ensure passenger compliance with all safety requirements and federal regulations
  • ensure the safety and comfort of passengers
  • demonstrate leadership, confidence, and professionalism while handling various situations including inquiries, operational changes, and emergencies
  • provide clear and calm instructions during emergencies and be prepared to evacuate passengers rapidly
  • assist passengers with special needs including unaccompanied minors
  • diffuse challenging situations involving disorderly, intoxicated, and irate passengers
  • care for and assist ill, injured, and incapacitated passengers and may administer first aid
  • carry out duties in confined spaces of aircraft aisles and galleys
  • adapt to frequent changes in work environment including flight schedules and weather conditions
  • complete responsibilities timely contributing to on-time departures and arrivals
