Job Requirements

  • high school diploma or GED
  • at least two years of customer service experience
  • must be 20 years of age by the date of the first interview
  • possess polished interpersonal skills with a positive attitude
  • must be willing to serve alcoholic beverages
  • able and willing to serve meals containing peanuts, shellfish, beef and pork
  • able to work with animals and allergens
  • comply with company tattoo and piercing policies
  • must have a wingspan of approximately 55 inches or greater
  • able to sit in flight attendant jump seat with seatbelt and shoulder harness fastened without modifications
  • must not have multiple visible piercings
  • ability to read, analyze and interpret technical procedures and government regulations
  • ability to present information and respond to questions effectively
  • must be willing to work in a time-sensitive and stressful environment
  • capable of remaining calm and reacting quickly in emergency situations
  • possess physical strength to reach and operate emergency equipment with force up to 70 pounds
  • capable of lifting objects up to 35 pounds
  • able to push and pull carts over 250 pounds
  • able to walk and stand for extended periods even in turbulence
  • able to stoop, crouch, squat, climb and kneel
  • able to see clearly at 20 feet with or without corrective lenses
  • able to hear verbal communications over ambient noise
  • willing to work extended duty periods on sequential days
  • willing to travel up to 100 percent including nights, weekends, holidays and overnight
  • willing to relocate based on company needs

Job Qualifications

  • high school diploma or GED
  • at least two years of customer service experience
  • additional years of customer service experience, preferably in an aviation environment
  • previous Flight Attendant experience
  • polished interpersonal skills with a positive attitude and a customer-oriented mindset
  • ability to read, analyze and interpret technical procedures and governmental regulations
  • able to effectively present information and respond to questions from management, crew, passengers and the public
  • able to speak and be understood in English including shouted verbal commands during emergency situations
  • willing to work in a time-sensitive environment and handle stress effectively
  • capable of interpreting multiple instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form
  • able to remain calm and react quickly in emergency situations
  • able to make day-to-day decisions to support operations
  • able to process information quickly and act appropriately under stress
  • capable of controlling personal and emotional responses under high stress

Job Duties

  • perform all regulatory and assigned cabin duties with constant attention to guests while providing a safe and comfortable onboard experience
  • maintain thorough knowledge of all emergency procedures and the use of all emergency equipment on board the aircraft
  • provide food and beverages to passengers, which requires pushing and pulling moveable carts weighing in excess of 250 pounds
  • assist passengers in stowing carry-on baggage weighing up to and including 35 pounds
  • maintain a neat and orderly cabin environment
  • contribute to a reliable and on-time operation by working with other crewmembers to meet all report times, departure times, and minimum turn times
  • perform inflight sales and promotional duties as assigned
