Job Requirements
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- Must have reliable transportation and ability to report to assigned location within 2 hours
- Attend and successfully complete all Avelo Flight Attendant training requirements
- Able to accept and relocate to a base assignment at own expense after training
- Able to work a rotating schedule with variable hours up to 16-hour duty days, including nights, weekends, holidays, and multiple days away from home
- Present neat professional appearance and adhere to uniform guidelines
- Comply with all DOT, FAA, and Avelo regulations regarding drug and alcohol compliance
- Willing and able to serve all types of food and beverages including alcoholic beverages
- Maintain working telephone number and current address
- Possess valid United States passport or foreign passport with VISAs with at least six months validity
- Must understand, speak, read, and write English fluently
- Perform all duties outlined in company manuals and as assigned
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States
- Vision at least 20/40 with corrective lenses
- Ability to physically lift 50 pounds from ground to waist
- Be able to walk down aircraft aisle without disturbing seated customers
- Be seated in jumpseat with belts fastened without extension
- Maintain balance while standing and walking during flight
- Able to stand, sit, stoop, bend, reach, and crouch for extended periods
- Push or pull doors, exits, or carts with up to 100 pounds force
- Assist customers during evacuation
Job Qualifications
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- Must be able to accept and relocate to a base assignment at crewmember’s own expense after training
- Must successfully complete Avelo Flight Attendant training
- Must be able to work a rotating schedule including nights, weekends, holidays, and extended duty days
- Must present a neat professional appearance and adhere to uniform guidelines
- Must possess a valid United States passport or foreign passport with applicable VISAs
- Must be fluent in English
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States
- Ability to lift 50 pounds and meet physical requirements of the role
Job Duties
- Ensure the safety, security, welfare, and comfort of all customers and other crewmembers
- Respond safely and effectively to in-flight emergencies
- Contribute to smooth and efficient aircraft and flight operations
- Complete incident and safety reporting requirements
- Create a caring customer experience from boarding to deplaning
- Serve as primary point of contact for customer issues onboard
- Adhere to Federal Aviation Regulations and company policies
- Attend all training and maintain qualifications
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of company materials
- Build customer loyalty and work effectively with operational crewmembers and leadership
- Treat each customer with kindness and respect
- Contribute to onboard service, sales, and revenue initiatives
- Serve as a customer service, marketing, and public relations ambassador
