Job Requirements

  • Must be 21 years of age or older
  • U.S. citizenship required due to contract and destination country regulations
  • Valid U.S. passport with at least 12 months validity
  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent
  • Must be fluent in English
  • Pass a 10-year background check including FAA fingerprint-based criminal history records check
  • Pass FAA mandated pre-employment drug test and subsequent tests
  • Willing to comply with TSA pre-employment requirements
  • Complete 6-week Flight Attendant training without interruptions
  • Obtain FAA Flight Attendant Certificate
  • Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Must be able to be away from base for periods up to 18 days per month
  • Reliable and punctual
  • Compliance with laws over international operations
  • Obtain required vaccinations for destinations served
  • Comfortable with basic electronic devices
  • Must be able to interact professionally with passengers and co-workers
  • One year of direct customer service experience preferred

  • Fluent in English reading, writing, and speaking
  • Pass a 10-year background check including FAA fingerprint-based criminal history records check
  • Pass FAA mandated pre-employment and subsequent drug tests
  • Willingness to comply with TSA pre-employment checks
  • Successful completion of 6-week National Airlines Flight Attendant training
  • FAA Flight Attendant Certificate
  • Ability to work flexible hours including days, nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Ability to be away from base for up to 18 days per month
  • Reliable, punctual, and dependable
  • Compliance with international laws and regulations for operations

Job Duties

  • Participates in the company safety management system (SMS) according to the Safety Management System Manual
  • Maintains all National Airlines manuals in current form
  • Familiarizes self with all flight aspects including cabin safety, cabin service, aircraft-passenger security requirements, passenger manifest, and additional pilot or operations information
  • Follows and enforces safety and security policies ensuring guest safety in compliance with Federal Aviation requirements
  • Promotes a service culture emphasizing learning, continuous improvement, effective communication, and strict adherence to safety and service standards
  • Performs other duties as assigned
