Job Requirements

  • High school diploma, GED or equivalent
  • Authorization to work in the U.S.
  • Minimum age of 21 years
  • Ability to report to work at assigned base within 2 hours (2.5 hours for New York City bases)
  • Ability to work flexible schedules including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Valid passport and travel documents
  • Ability to pass FAA regulations and standards
  • No tattoos on hands or fingers
  • Ability to cover non-hand/finger tattoos
  • Limited earrings and nose piercing according to guidelines
  • Exceptional customer service skills
  • At least one year of customer service experience
  • Ability to maintain professional appearance
  • Ability to complete 4 weeks of Flight Attendant Initial Training
  • Physical ability to meet required measurements and perform job duties
  • Ability to manage allergens and work in confined spaces
  • Ability to use mobile handheld devices and computer programs
  • Capability to adapt to changing work conditions and schedules

Job Qualifications

  • Authorization to work in the U.S.
  • Ability to report to assigned base within 2 hours (2.5 hours for NYC bases)
  • High school diploma, GED or equivalent (BA/BS preferred)
  • Fluent in English
  • Minimum age of 21
  • Flexible availability including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Valid passport and travel documents
  • Knowledge of FAA regulations
  • Exceptional customer service skills
  • Minimum one year of customer service experience
  • Professional conduct and appearance
  • Compliance with appearance guidelines including tattoo and piercing policies
  • Familiarity with mobile devices
  • Successful completion of 4 weeks Flight Attendant Initial Training
  • Completion of Initial Operating Experience
  • Physical ability to meet height, reach, and physical task requirements

Job Duties

  • Ensure the safety and comfort of customers by providing excellent service on aircraft
  • Project and maintain a positive attitude and composure
  • Perform work activities according to established policies, laws, and FAA regulations
  • Respond effectively to emergency situations including providing medical assistance like CPR and first aid
  • Prepare and serve meals, snacks, alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages and process payments
  • Provide customer assistance including help with luggage and answering questions, especially for unaccompanied minors and special needs passengers
  • Communicate effectively through announcements, safety demonstrations, and updates
  • Ensure compliance with all policies, procedures, and safety regulations
  • Work independently and collaboratively to complete tasks
  • Manage allergens and work in confined spaces respecting safety standards
  • Adapt to changing work conditions and scheduling
  • Maintain professional appearance and comply with uniform guidelines
  • Use mobile devices and computer programs for communication and tasks
  • Complete paperwork and reports regarding incidents or discrepancies
