Job Requirements
- Be at least 21 years of age
- have a valid driver’s license
- maintain a clean driving record
- pass a drug test including marijuana screening
- pass a DOT physical
- be able to lift and carry up to 75 lbs and 150 lbs with hand truck
- pass FedEx Ground criminal background check
- have reliable transportation to and from work
- be punctual and ready to work each workday
- be able to climb stairs
- work in all weather conditions
- possess a strong work ethic and get it done attitude
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- previous delivery driving experience a plus
- familiarity with GPS and route navigation
- strong customer service skills
- ability to work independently and manage time effectively
- excellent communication skills
- physical ability to lift and carry packages up to 75 lbs and 150 lbs with hand truck
Job Duties
- Operate vehicle safely at all times
- deliver and pick up packages to businesses and residences
- perform daily vehicle inspections including checking fluid levels
- load vehicle for deliveries and organize daily loads
- work independently and as part of a team
- provide exceptional customer service and maintain communication with manager
- accurately operate scanner and track delivery process
- ensure accurate disposition of package delivery and pickups
- consistently deliver entire route in a timely manner
