Job Requirements
- High school diploma or G.E.D. preferred
- Valid driver’s license
- Access to insured automobile
- Ability to communicate effectively in English
- Previous caregiving or home health experience preferred
- Ability to perform physical tasks related to personal care and housekeeping
- Willingness to undergo background checks and training
Job Qualifications
- High school graduate or G.E.D. certificate preferred
- Ability to read, write, speak and understand English as needed for the job
- Possess a valid driver's license and insured automobile
- Compassionate and empathetic with a passion for serving others
- Reliable, determined and focused on improving client quality of life
Job Duties
- Perform personal care activities including assisting with hygiene such as bathing, shaving, and grooming
- Assist with ambulation and transfers
- Support eating and dressing
- Prepare meals and snacks according to instructions
- Accompany patients on errands or medical appointments
- Perform housekeeping tasks including vacuuming, dusting, sweeping or mopping floors, doing dishes, changing bed linens, laundry and cleaning bathrooms
- Provide patient-specific care activities such as medication reminders, assisting with range of motion exercises, measuring and preparing special diets, understanding dementia care and incontinence care
