Job Requirements
- high school diploma or GED
- 2 years experience in event management or related area
- or 2-year degree from accredited university in related field
- willingness to travel 100 percent
- ability to work full time
- strong organizational skills

- proficiency in managing budgets and client relations

- or 2-year degree in Hotel and Restaurant Management, Hospitality, Business Administration, or related field with no work experience required
- ability to solve problems and suggest alternatives
- strong customer service and communication skills
- experience managing budgets and maximizing revenue
- ability to lead meetings and coordinate teams
- proficient in handling guest feedback and complaints
Job Duties
- prepare all event documentation
- coordinate with Sales, property departments and customers to ensure high level service
- handle complex event management
- lead pre-event and post-event meetings
- manage customer budgets and room blocks
- oversee customer experience from sales turnover to post-event
- up-sell products and services during event process
