Scholastic Book Fairs are celebrated in-person events designed to give children the joy and empowerment of discovering books on their own terms. Job Requirements
- bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant experience in business administration, management, marketing, or related field
- minimum of two (2) years of proven successful sales experience in telephone sales, personal selling, and customer service
- proven track record of success in sales, with a focus on revenue growth and customer relationship management
- strong communication skills
- proficiency with MS Office and CRM technology
- ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
- ability to build and maintain customer relationships
- knowledge of sales techniques and negotiation
- ability to work full time

- ensure adherence to all local, state, and federal laws, including but not limited to OSHA, DOT, and EEOC

Job Duties
- develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve revenue targets and maximize sales opportunities within the assigned territory
- identify new business opportunities and cultivate relationships with prospective customers to expand market presence and drive sales growth
- build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers to understand their needs, preferences, and challenges
- proactively engage with customers to identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities and drive incremental revenue from existing accounts
- establish and nurture relationships with key stakeholders, decision-makers, and influencers within customer organizations
- act as a trusted advisor to customers, providing expert guidance, product recommendations, and solutions to meet their business objectives
- effectively manage territory activities, including prospecting, lead generation, pipeline management, and sales forecasting
- utilize CRM systems and sales tools to track customer interactions, manage sales pipelines, and optimize territory performance
- stay informed about industry trends, market dynamics, competitor activities, and customer needs to identify opportunities and mitigate risks
- gather and analyze customer feedback and market data to inform sales strategies and product development initiatives
