Job Requirements

  • Work authorization in US and Canada
  • Willingness to travel 100% to assignments across various hotel properties
  • Ability to adapt quickly to different environments and operational complexities
  • Strong communication and leadership skills
  • Commitment to maintaining professional behavior and brand standards
  • Proficient in managing property rooms operations including scheduling and staff coordination

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED with at least 4 years of experience in guest services, front desk, housekeeping or related area
  • OR 2-year degree in Hotel and Restaurant Management, Hospitality, Business Administration or related major with 2 years of experience in guest services and 2 years of hotel leadership experience
  • Luxury hotel experience preferred
  • Proficiency in front and back office systems including Lightspeed, PMS, GXP/Empower, MARSHA and HotSoS
  • Experience with Opera and FOSSE highly regarded
  • Union or collective bargaining agreement experience preferred

Job Duties

  • Manage the execution of all operations in the rooms area departments such as Front Office and Housekeeping
  • Drive adoption of Marriott International initiatives
  • Champion GXP efforts to enhance engagement and guest satisfaction scores
  • Uphold Marriott’s Commitment to Clean processes and critical brand standards
  • Provide expertise on Marriott Bonvoy Loyalty programs and procedures
  • Lead daily stand-up meetings and communicate performance expectations
  • Coordinate labor scheduling and lead shifts across discipline areas based on property needs
