Job Requirements

  • Candidate must reside in the designated market

  • Ability to work remotely and adapt to multiple assignment locations

  • Proficiency in managing food safety and sanitation standards
  • Ability to manage budgets and operational profitability
  • Commitment to Marriott's brand standards and guest service culture

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED with 4 years experience in food and beverage or related area
  • Or a 2-year degree in Food Service Management, Hotel and Restaurant Management, Hospitality, Business Administration or related field with 2 years of experience
  • Proficiency in food and beverage systems including POS/Micros
  • Certified in all ServSafe Standards
  • Knowledge of CI/TY systems preferred

Job Duties

  • Leading food and beverage operations including restaurants, bars, and other outlets
  • Supervising operations and ensuring compliance with policies and standards
  • Monitoring inventory and maintaining equipment
  • Supporting event operations and coordinating between banquets, event planning, and event teams
  • Managing daily operations while motivating associates and enforcing safety and sanitation standards
  • Overseeing profitability through budget management and cost control
  • Conducting human resources activities including training, orientation, and recognition
