Job Requirements

Job Qualifications
- Knowledge of guest service etiquette and proper food and beverage serving techniques in compliance with company standards
- Ability to perform all tasks related to restaurant server and proficiently use job-related software and property management systems
- Knowledge of cocktails and proper cocktail mixing techniques
- Knowledge of wine, beer and all other alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages
- Knowledge of food and food preparation techniques
- Ability to remain calm in various situations, use sound judgement and effectively solve problems
- Ability to work quickly, prioritize, and maintain service at multiple tables at a time
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules and procedural manuals
- Ability to demonstrate cash handling procedures and calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, commissions, upgrades and percentages
- Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal skills
Job Duties
- Respond to guest requests in a timely, friendly and efficient manner
- Ensure knowledge of menu and restaurant promotions and specials
- Take guest food and/or beverage orders and input orders in appropriate point-of-sale system
- Retrieve and deliver food and beverage orders in a timely manner
- Ensure guest satisfaction throughout the meal service
- Serve alcoholic/non-alcoholic beverages in accordance with federal, state, local and company regulations
- Ensure serving station is well-stocked at all times
- Anticipate guest needs, ascertain satisfaction, and offer suggestions
- Properly and accurately close guest checks
- Process cash and credit card payments
- Breakdown, clean and set-up of tables, buffets, and food stations
- Set tables according to type of event and service standards
- Communicate additional meal requirements, allergies, dietary needs, and special requests to the kitchen
- Complete closing duties, including restocking items, turning off lights, etc
- Ensure adherence to quality expectations and standards
- All other duties as assigned by leadership
