Job Requirements
- Associate's degree in aviation management
- FAA Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) certification
- 8-10 years of experience in flight operations or related training roles
- Experience in Aircraft Operations Manual development
- Experience in training and standards functions
- Preferred 4 years of management experience
- Strong decision-making capabilities
- Ability to adapt to rapid changes
- Effective time and priority management
- Ability to coach and mentor others
Job Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Aviation Management
- FAA Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) certification
- 8-10 years of relevant experience in aviation training and operations
- Previous experience in Aircraft Operations Manual development
- Previous experience in a training and standards function
- Preferred management experience of 4 years
- Strong decision-making skills with a focus on safety
- Ability to adapt to change and manage priorities effectively
- Proven ability to coach, mentor, and develop others
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Job Duties
- Develop and deliver industry leading training and checking programs and build curriculum for training cycles
- Develop and maintain Aircraft Operating Manual, Flight Operations Training Manual, Training and Standards Policy Procedures Manual, and other related manuals
- Conduct FAA-mandated and internal audits of the training program and support customer audits to maintain regulatory compliance
- Develop strategic initiatives for continuous improvement within Training and Standards, monitor crewmember compliance, and participate in the Safety Management System
- Act as a primary point of contact for crewmembers, Training Captains, Check Airman, Fleet Program Directors, Maintenance Program Managers and training vendors
- Serve as an Aircrew Program Designee in support of the Aircrew Designated Examiner program
- Monitor training, ASAP, and FOQA data to enhance training program effectiveness
