Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience as a 121 flight instructor-simulator or Line Check Airman
  • Demonstrated knowledge of PSA manual systems and the CRJ aircraft
  • Experience with managing programs
  • One or more years’ experience leading aviation professionals
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Ability to speak, read, and write in English
  • Authorized to work in the U.S

Job Qualifications

  • Preferred four-year college degree (BA or BS)
  • Preferred PSA Line experience
  • Preferred experience in data identification, gathering, and analysis

Job Duties

  • Responsible for the content and revision of the CRJ Pilot Operating Handbook (POH) and associated Normal Procedures Pilot Checklist
  • Responsible for the content and revision of the CR7/CRJ-900 Quick Reference Handbook (QRH) and Quick Reference Card (QRC)
  • Ensure regulatory compliance of the POH, Normal Checklist, QRH, and QRC
  • Ensure content of applicable manuals conforms to FAA requirements and recommendations from entities such as IATA and NTSB
  • Responsible for operational engineering including performance and weight and balance of the CRJ program
  • Ensure third-party vendors comply with regulatory requirements
  • Act as liaison to aircraft manufacturers and type certificate holders
  • Liaise with departments including Pilot Ground and Flight Training, Training Development, Tech Services, Technical Ops/Engineering, Inflight Standards, and Safety Department
  • Represent PSA in industry and manufacturing working groups
  • Lead and support the FAA approved EFB program and supervise two EFB Specialists
  • Participate in Minimum Equipment List (MEL) workgroup providing input for MEL content and revisions
  • Manage content and revisions of CR7/CRJ-900 Pilot Reference Manual (PRM)
  • Promote a positive and professional culture at PSA
  • Manage Company's Safety and Safety Management System (SMS) and related risk management and assurance outputs
  • Perform other duties as assigned
