Job Requirements

  • High school diploma, equivalent, or prior work experience preferred
  • Valid driver’s license required
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Ability to work well as part of a team
  • Ability and willingness to work outside
  • Basic mechanical ability and tool usage preferred
  • Basic computer skills
  • Ability to understand and comply with specific instructions, rules, and regulations established by Penske management
  • Must adhere to DOT, OSHA, and Penske safety policies including correct use of tools and PPE
  • Regular, predictable, full attendance
  • Ability to maintain a current driver qualification file including annual MVR check, DOT Physical, and Safety Performance History
  • Willingness to work required schedule, location, complete employment application, background screening, drug screening and physical as required by DOT, and potential travel for training

Job Duties

  • Greeting customers and ensuring a great experience as you fuel and wash vehicles
  • Performing vehicle readiness inspections including checking tires, fluids, and basic maintenance
  • Maintaining clean and safe facilities for customers and associates
  • Building skills through training and hands-on coaching to perform minor repairs such as installing, replacing, or rotating tires and performing preventive maintenance
  • Completing projects and tasks assigned by the supervisor
