Job Requirements

  • Minimum of a high school graduate or equivalent work experience
  • Prior automotive or fleet coordination experience preferred
  • Expertise with systems management software
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to work independently
  • Strong problem-solving ability
  • Ability to interact with executives, managers and vendors
  • Flexible availability including weekends

Job Duties

  • Ascertain vehicle servicing and repair need by reviewing daily inspection records and examining service schedules
  • Coordinate and prioritize fleet repairs while communicating progress to customers
  • Manage ad-hoc projects as assigned by General Manager
  • Coordinate with repair vendors and wash vendors when necessary
  • Handle on-road vehicle recovery in events of accidents or maintenance issues
  • Negotiate repair costs with shops when needed
  • Provide purchase orders for maintenance repairs and obtain necessary approvals
  • Enter purchase orders into MMIS system and verify warranty coverage
  • Maintain detailed automotive service records including driver and vendor correspondence
  • Audit vendor invoices for accuracy and process payments
  • Resolve billing discrepancies with vendors
  • Manage fuel card and RFID card assignments
  • Coordinate delivery and state inspections of new fleet assets
  • Oversee installation and repair of onboard technology on vehicles
  • Collaborate with Director of Maintenance as required
