Job Requirements
- Some high school coursework required
- Ability to read and follow instructions
- Good verbal communication skills
- Ability to operate cooking and food preparation equipment
- Understanding of proper food handling and sanitation procedures
- Prolonged periods standing and walking
- Must be able to access and navigate all areas of restaurant
- Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds at times
- May be required to work in excessive heat and cold in association with the kitchen environment
- Must be able to pass a Level II background check
Job Qualifications

- Ability to operate cooking and food preparation equipment
- Understanding of proper food handling and sanitation procedures
Job Duties
- Prepare and serve drinks and foods such as sandwiches, salads, and dressings according to customer specifications
- Provide menu information and suggestion to customers including wine and food suggestions and explanations of ingredients and preparation methods
- Assist with food preparation as directed, operating food production equipment as required to complete tasks
- Operate grill, broiler, or deep-fat fryer to prepare specific fast foods
- Arrange table settings and fold napkins according to restaurant standard
- Clear, clean, and sanitize tables
- Maintain, clean, and sanitize workstations
- Clean and sanitize dishes, utensils, pots, pans, and other containers and return to appropriate location in the kitchen area
- Refill condiments or other supplies
- Follow all safety and sanitation guidelines and regulations to ensure quality food service
- Perform other related duties as assigned
