Job Requirements
- valid private pilot license
- instrument rating required
- minimum one year service if aircraft transition necessary
- relocation package available with two-year service commitment
- must reside within one hour of base
- ability to pass pre-placement physical exam including strength and flexibility assessment
- pass drug screening and background check
- acceptable vaccination record including COVID-19
- ability to lift 100 pounds
- meet body weight requirement of 235 lbs
Job Qualifications
- ATP airplane multi-engine land certification
- first class medical certificate
- minimum 2,000 total airplane flight hours
- minimum 1,000 hours as PIC
- minimum 500 hours as PIC in multi-engine airplanes
- minimum 100 hours night flight experience
- strong communication and customer service skills
- ability to pass tuberculosis screening and required vaccinations including COVID-19
- must meet body weight requirements
- successful interview and acceptance by PHI management
Job Duties
- Operate Lear Jet 31A aircraft as first officer of two-pilot crew
- conduct 24-hour flight operations with day and night rotations
- comply with CAMTS guidelines and PHI Air Medical policies
- assist in loading and unloading patients and equipment including lifting up to 100 pounds
- perform line pilot duties according to General Operations Manual
- participate actively in Safety Management System and Destination Zero safety campaigns
- provide courteous, efficient, and reliable service to internal and external customers
