Job Requirements
- Must have a minimum of 3,000 airplane hours including 1,500 hours as PIC and 500 hours as PIC in multi-engine airplanes
- Must hold an ATP Airplane, multi-engine land certificate
- First Class Medical certification is mandatory
- Pass pre-placement physical exam including functional capacity assessment
- Must be able to lift 100 pounds for patient and equipment handling
- Complete required vaccinations including tuberculosis screening, Varivax, MMR, tetanus booster, hepatitis B, and annual flu vaccination
- Must pass drug screening and background check
- Must meet body weight requirement of 235 pounds
- Must reside within one hour commute of the Houston, TX base
- Must have instrument rating and qualified for dual-pilot operations
- Willingness to participate in community outreach programs
- COVID-19 vaccination is required
Job Qualifications
- Current and qualified on VE7A certificate
- ATP Airplane, multi-engine land certified
- First Class Medical certification
- Minimum 3,000 airplane hours
- Minimum 1,500 hours PIC
- Minimum 500 hours as PIC in multi-engine airplanes
- Minimum 100 hours night flying
- Strong communication skills
- Proven internal and external customer service skills
- Successful interview and acceptance by customer and PHI management
Job Duties
- Operate Pilatus PC-24 aircraft as pilot in command under CAMTS guidelines
- Conduct airplane air ambulance operations following IFR and dual-pilot crew requirements
- Participate in 24-hour shift rotations including day and night operations
- Assist in loading and unloading patients and medical equipment
- Perform line pilot duties in accordance with company General Operations Manual (GOM)
- Support company safety campaigns and the Safety Management System
- Provide safe, efficient, courteous, and reliable service to internal and external customers
