Job Requirements
- hold current VE7A certificate
- have ATP airplane multi-engine land license
- possess first-class medical certificate
- have minimum 3,000 airplane hours
- at least 1,500 hours as pilot-in-command
- 500 hours PIC in multi-engine airplanes
- 100 hours of night flying experience
- meet body weight requirement of 235 lbs
- pass pre-placement physical exam including functional capacity exam
- pass drug screening and background check
- comply with tuberculosis screening and required vaccinations
- have completed Covid vaccination
- willing to work 24-hour shift rotations
- live within one hour commute from base
- agree to minimum service requirements if utilizing relocation or transition packages
Job Qualifications
- current and qualified on VE7A certificate
- ATP airplane multi-engine land certification
- first-class medical certificate
- 3,000 airplane hours
- 1,500 hours pilot-in-command
- 500 hours as PIC in multi-engine airplanes
- 100 hours night flying experience
- strong internal and external customer service and communication skills
- ability to pass interview and acceptance by PHI management
- strict adherence to health screening and vaccination requirements
Job Duties
- Operate Pilatus PC-24 as captain in a two-pilot crew
- conduct air ambulance missions under CAMTS guidelines
- perform IFR dual pilot instrument rated flight operations
- participate in day and night shift rotations
- assist with loading and unloading of patients and equipment
- adhere to PHI Air Medical policies and safety management systems
- engage in community outreach programs and support company safety campaigns
