Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED equivalent desired
- Ability to work in outside weather conditions
- Availability to work night, day and overnight shifts as assigned
- Physical ability to stand, walk, climb, bend, balance, sit, crouch, kneel or crawl unassisted for extended periods
- Ability to assist with loading patients and moving up to 150 pounds with assistance
- Specific vision abilities including close, distant and peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus
- Valid driver’s license
- FAA first- or second-class medical certificate
Job Qualifications
- Commercial airplane multi engine land (C-AMEL) certification required
- Willingness and ability to obtain ATP within 5 years of employment
- Experience with single pilot IFR operations preferred
- Previous medevac and/or cargo flight experience preferred
- Valid and unexpired driver’s license
- Current FAA first- or second-class medical certificate
- Minimum 2,500 total flight hours
- Minimum 2,000 fixed wing hours
- Minimum 1,000 pilot-in-command (PIC) hours
- Minimum 500 cross-country flight hours
- Minimum 500 multi-engine flight hours
- Minimum 100 night flight hours
- Minimum 75 instrument flight hours with 50 actual instrument hours
Job Duties
- Work with a team of medical experts to safely transport customers to and from locations and facilities
- Ensure aircraft readiness for flight dispatches including compliance with FAR and company requirements and aircraft cleanliness duties
- Maintain accurate company and regulatory documentation and record keeping for shifts and load manifests
- Communicate and collaborate effectively with air and ground dispatch, flight crews, facilities and partners
- Provide shift change information to transitioning pilots and follow protocols for recording company change board details
- Maintain required certifications and participate in ongoing ground and air training
- Demonstrate punctuality, reliability, professionalism and commitment to elevated safety and service standards
