Job Requirements
- Minimum of High School Diploma or GED equivalent desired
- Required to work in outside weather conditions
- Required to stand, walk, climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl
- Must be able to lift 70 pounds
- Specific vision abilities required including close vision, distant vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus
Job Qualifications
- Commercial Airplane Multi Engine Land certificate required
- Willing and able to obtain ATP within 5 years of employment
- Single pilot IFR experience preferred
- Previous medevac and/or cargo experience preferred
- Valid and unexpired driver's license
- Current FAA First or Second Class Medical Certificate
- Minimum of 2,500 total flight hours
- Minimum of 1,000 PIC hours
- Minimum of 500 cross country hours
- Minimum of 500 multi-engine hours
- Minimum of 100 night hours
- Minimum of 75 instrument hours with at least 50 actual hours
Job Duties
- Work with a team of medical experts to safely transport customers to and from locations and facilities
- Ensure aircraft readiness for flight dispatches including compliance with FAR and company requirements and cleanliness duties
- Maintain accurate company and regulatory documentation and record keeping for shifts and load manifests
- Communicate and collaborate effectively with air and ground dispatch, flight crews, facilities, and partners
- Provide shift change information to transitioning pilot and team while following protocols for recording company change board details
- Maintain required certifications and participate in ongoing ground and air training
- Perform tasks related to aircraft preparation such as deicing, towing, and maneuvering in and out of the hangar
