Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred
- Willingness to work night, day, and overnight shifts as assigned
- Ability to work in outside weather conditions
- Physical capability to stand, walk, climb, bend, balance, sit, crouch, kneel, or crawl unassisted for extended periods
- Ability to assist with loading patients and lift/move up to 150 pounds cumulative with assistance
- Specific vision abilities including close vision, distant vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus
- Valid and unexpired driver's license
- Current FAA medical certificate
- Minimum flight hours as specified
- Compliance with certification maintenance
Job Qualifications
- Commercial airplane multi engine land (C-AMEL) certificate
- Willingness and ability to obtain ATP within 5 years of employment
- Single pilot IFR experience preferred
- Previous medevac and/or cargo experience preferred
- Valid and unexpired driver's license
- Current FAA first- or second-class medical certificate
- Minimum 2500 total flight hours
- Minimum 2000 fixed wing flight hours
- Minimum 1000 PIC hours
- Minimum 500 cross country hours
- Minimum 500 multi-engine hours
- Minimum 100 night hours
- Minimum 75 instrument hours (50 actual)
Job Duties
- Work with a team of medical experts to safely transport customers to and from locations and facilities
- Ensure aircraft readiness for flight dispatches including compliance with FAR and company requirements and aircraft cleanliness
- Maintain accurate company and regulatory documentation and record keeping for shifts, load manifests, etc
- Effectively communicate and collaborate with both air and ground dispatch, flight crews, facilities, and partners
- Provide shift change info to transitioning pilot and team, and follow protocols for recording company change board details
- Maintain required certifications and ongoing ground and air training
- Be on-time, reliable, professional and meet elevated standards in safety and service
