Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred
  • Willingness to work night, day, and overnight shifts as assigned
  • Ability to work in outside weather conditions
  • Physical capability to stand, walk, climb, bend, balance, sit, crouch, kneel, or crawl unassisted for extended periods
  • Ability to assist with loading patients and lift/move up to 150 pounds cumulative with assistance
  • Specific vision abilities including close vision, distant vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus
  • Valid and unexpired driver's license
  • Current FAA medical certificate
  • Minimum flight hours as specified
  • Compliance with certification maintenance

Job Qualifications

  • Commercial airplane multi engine land (C-AMEL) certificate
  • Willingness and ability to obtain ATP within 5 years of employment
  • Single pilot IFR experience preferred
  • Previous medevac and/or cargo experience preferred
  • Valid and unexpired driver's license
  • Current FAA first- or second-class medical certificate
  • Minimum 2500 total flight hours
  • Minimum 2000 fixed wing flight hours
  • Minimum 1000 PIC hours
  • Minimum 500 cross country hours
  • Minimum 500 multi-engine hours
  • Minimum 100 night hours
  • Minimum 75 instrument hours (50 actual)

Job Duties

  • Work with a team of medical experts to safely transport customers to and from locations and facilities
  • Ensure aircraft readiness for flight dispatches including compliance with FAR and company requirements and aircraft cleanliness
  • Maintain accurate company and regulatory documentation and record keeping for shifts, load manifests, etc
  • Effectively communicate and collaborate with both air and ground dispatch, flight crews, facilities, and partners
  • Provide shift change info to transitioning pilot and team, and follow protocols for recording company change board details
  • Maintain required certifications and ongoing ground and air training
  • Be on-time, reliable, professional and meet elevated standards in safety and service
