Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in exercise science or related field
- Current personal training certification from a NCCA accredited organization
- Minimum five years’ experience as a Certified Personal Trainer or Exercise Physiologist
- Experience working with older adults
- Ability to lead group exercise classes
- Proficiency in yoga instruction
- Excellent multitasking skills
- Commitment to health and wellness
- Current CPR/First Aid/AED certification or ability to obtain
Job Qualifications
- Current personal training certification through a NCCA accredited organization
- Bachelor’s degree in an exercise science-related discipline
- Minimum of five years’ experience as a Certified Personal Trainer or Exercise Physiologist
- Experience working with a mature population
- Skilled in instructing group exercise classes
- Proficient in teaching chair and mat yoga
- Positive and energetic approach to health, wellness, and teamwork
- Current CPR/First Aid/AED certification or willingness to obtain upon hire
Job Duties
- Assist residents in the use of fitness equipment safely and effectively
- Monitor and instruct residents to meet their personal fitness goals
- Lead group exercise classes in certified formats
- Provide instruction in yoga, including chair and mat styles
- Manage multiple tasks and schedules efficiently
- Foster a positive and energetic atmosphere promoting health and wellness
- Support community values of hospitality, compassion, excellence, teamwork, and integrity
