Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in exercise science or related field
  • Current personal training certification from a NCCA accredited organization
  • Minimum five years’ experience as a Certified Personal Trainer or Exercise Physiologist
  • Experience working with older adults
  • Ability to lead group exercise classes
  • Proficiency in yoga instruction
  • Excellent multitasking skills
  • Commitment to health and wellness
  • Current CPR/First Aid/AED certification or ability to obtain

Job Qualifications

  • Current personal training certification through a NCCA accredited organization
  • Bachelor’s degree in an exercise science-related discipline
  • Minimum of five years’ experience as a Certified Personal Trainer or Exercise Physiologist
  • Experience working with a mature population
  • Skilled in instructing group exercise classes
  • Proficient in teaching chair and mat yoga
  • Positive and energetic approach to health, wellness, and teamwork
  • Current CPR/First Aid/AED certification or willingness to obtain upon hire

Job Duties

  • Assist residents in the use of fitness equipment safely and effectively
  • Monitor and instruct residents to meet their personal fitness goals
  • Lead group exercise classes in certified formats
  • Provide instruction in yoga, including chair and mat styles
  • Manage multiple tasks and schedules efficiently
  • Foster a positive and energetic atmosphere promoting health and wellness
  • Support community values of hospitality, compassion, excellence, teamwork, and integrity
