Job Requirements
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Willingness to complete CPR/AED certification training provided by Planet Fitness
- Basic computer skills and proficiency
- Ability to maintain professionalism and a positive attitude
- Ability to perform physical duties including cleaning and walking facility
- Availability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends
- Commitment to upholding safety and sanitation standards
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 6-12 months of customer service experience preferred
- Strong communication and listening skills
- Ability to motivate and inspire others with a positive attitude
- Quick learner capable of applying training effectively
- Friendly and empathetic demeanor
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
Job Duties
- Welcome members and guests as they enter and exit, assisting with questions during check-in
- Promote the Judgement Free Zone® by engaging with members on the floor and supporting their fitness goals
- Address member issues promptly and escalate to management when necessary
- Answer phone calls courteously and assist callers with questions
- Manage membership functions including new sign-ups, billing updates, cancellations, collections, and transfers
- Conduct outreach calls and provide guided tours to prospective members
- Process retail sales accurately and contribute toward sales goals
- Clean and sanitize gym equipment, Black Card spa amenities, and shared areas according to schedule
- Ensure restrooms are clean, stocked, sanitized, and clutter-free
- Perform facility walkthroughs to address safety, cleanliness, and policy concerns
- Report facility or maintenance issues such as broken equipment or leaks
