Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- ability to work weekdays from 8 am to 5 pm
- ability to perform physical tasks including lifting and standing for extended periods
- reliable and punctual
- basic understanding of cleaning techniques
- willingness to work under the supervision of management
Job Qualifications
- Previous cleaning experience preferred
- knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies
- ability to follow safety procedures
- strong attention to detail
- good physical stamina
- ability to work independently
- good communication skills
Job Duties
- Clean outside glass
- wipe down equipment, doors, and floors as necessary
- empty trash receptacles daily
- sweep and mop floors, stairwells, staircases
- clean carpets and floors as needed
- change light bulbs as necessary
- clean all fitness equipment, bathrooms (tile, tub, walls, and sink), mirrors and glass
- dust furniture and fixtures daily
- clean the management office daily
- mop and sweep lobby floors
- clean the locker room (sweep, mop, trash removal, dust, clean out lint)
- buff locker/lobby room floor
- maintain and organize mops, brooms, vacuum cleaners, and other equipment/supplies in good condition in designated storage areas
- pick up debris on carpet and vacuum carpet
- replace or add required supplies in locker rooms
- stock carts with linens and supplies and organize carts as trained and required
- clean vacuum cleaner bags or canisters daily
- report maintenance problems in an accurate and timely matter
