Job Requirements
- Must be at least 16 years of age to work in chilled environments and use knives
- Must be at least 18 years of age to operate band saw, meat grinder, automatic wrapper, freight elevator, trash baler, or other power-driven equipment
- Must be at least 18 years of age, possess a valid driver's license, and be certified to operate a forklift if required
- Basic math skills
- Ability to communicate effectively
- Ability to work under minimal supervision
- Positive attitude and strong customer service orientation
- Physical ability to lift up to 150 lbs and perform repetitive physical tasks
- Availability to work 7 days a week including holidays
Job Qualifications
- Previous fish cutting experience preferred
- Knowledge of various seafood products preferred
- Basic math skills
- Ability to multi-task and work efficiently
- Effective oral and written communication skills
- Ability to work under minimal or no supervision
- Willingness to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
Job Duties
- Promptly and efficiently greet, thank, offer assistance, and meet the needs of all customers
- Break down, cut, trim, clean and pack fresh whole fish
- Make poke by cutting ingredients and seasoning
- Tray, wrap and price all seafood items for self-service display case
- Tray all poke items for service counter display case
- Cut frozen products
- Service customers at the service counter
- Follow all safe food handling procedures
