Job Requirements

  • Hold an active Registered Nurse license in the state of practice
  • possess current AHA BLS certification
  • possess current AHA ACLS certification
  • have at least 18 months of current experience in relevant specialty areas such as Medical-Surgical Telemetry and PCU
  • not hold concurrent employment with a MercyOne facility
  • be willing to travel and relocate for assignments as needed

Job Qualifications

  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state where you wish to practice
  • current American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • current American Heart Association (AHA) Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
  • minimum of 18 months of current nursing experience for Medical-Surgical Telemetry and PCU positions
  • ability to work independently and in a team environment
  • strong communication and organizational skills

Job Duties

  • Provide nursing care in specialty areas such as Step-Down, PCU, Telemetry, Medical-Surgical, and Float Pool
  • maintain patient safety and comfort during assignments
  • administer medications and treatments according to medical directives
  • monitor patient health status and document observations
  • collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary healthcare teams
  • support patient and family education efforts
  • adapt to different healthcare settings and protocols as required
