Job Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the desired state
- Current AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Current AHA Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
- Minimum 18 months of experience in Medical Surgical Telemetry and Progressive Care Unit
- Cannot hold concurrent position at a MercyOne facility
- Must be eligible to work full-time
- Flexibility to travel and accept various assignments within the Trinity Health system
Job Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state where practice is desired
- Current American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Current American Heart Association (AHA) Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
- Minimum 18 months of relevant clinical experience for Medical Surgical Telemetry and Progressive Care Unit positions
- Ability to work flexible assignments across various healthcare settings
- Commitment to professional development and continuous learning
Job Duties
- Provide direct patient care in specialty areas such as Step-Down, PCU, Telemetry, Medical Surgical, Med/Surg Telemetry, and Float Pool
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care activities
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure high-quality patient outcomes
- Administer medications and treatments in accordance with established protocols and standards
- Monitor patient condition and report changes promptly
- Educate patients and families regarding care plans and health management
- Adhere to infection control policies and safety procedures
