Job Requirements

  • Minimum of a high school diploma or GED
  • One year of experience working directly with the general public in high volume situations
  • Ability to communicate effectively with a wide range of people
  • Physical ability to stand and walk for extended periods and lift up to 10 pounds
  • Willingness to work variable hours including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Residency within the First Opportunity Target Area (FOTA) and meeting income eligibility for this recruitment
  • No prior termination for cause or resignation in lieu of termination from Metro within the last 3 years
  • Ability to use handheld technology such as ticket scanners and radios

Job Qualifications

  • Minimum of a high school diploma or GED
  • One year of experience working directly with the general public in a high volume situation such as retail or fast food
  • Any combination of education and experience that provides the necessary knowledge, skills and abilities to perform the classification duties and responsibilities
  • Ability to work a variety of shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Experience in customer service or guest-facing roles preferred
  • Dependability and strong communication skills
  • Familiarity with public venues or multi-purpose event facilities preferred

Job Duties

  • Represent the venue with professionalism and courtesy, serving as a welcoming first point of contact for guests
  • Check guest badges to ensure appropriate access to designated event areas
  • Scan, collect, and accurately count tickets for various public shows and events
  • Manage and guide patron lines to support smooth and efficient event entry
  • Assist guests with general wayfinding and provide event-specific wayfinding support to ensure guests reach their intended destinations with ease
  • Provide timely communication with lead and management to report any issues that may arise
  • Assist patrons with coat and luggage check services
