Job Requirements

  • Reside within the First Opportunity Target Area and meet qualifying annual household income limits
  • Minimum of a high school diploma or GED
  • One year of experience working directly with the public in high volume situations
  • Ability to stand and walk extensively during shifts
  • Ability to lift, pull, and carry up to 10 pounds
  • Availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed
  • No disqualifying prior employment terminations with Metro within the past 3 years

Job Qualifications

  • Minimum of a high school diploma or GED
  • One year of experience working directly with the general public in a high volume situation
  • Any combination of education and experience that provides the necessary knowledge, skills and abilities to perform the classification duties and responsibilities
  • Able to work a variety of shifts to meet the needs of the business and be dependable
  • Experience in a public venue or a multi-purpose event facility is preferred
  • At least 2 years' experience in a front-facing customer service position within the last 3 years is preferred

Job Duties

  • Represent the venue with professionalism and courtesy, serving as a welcoming first point of contact for guests
  • Check guest badges to ensure appropriate access to designated event areas
  • Scan, collect, and accurately count tickets for various public shows and events
  • Manage and guide patron lines to support smooth and efficient event entry
  • Assist guests with general wayfinding and provide event-specific wayfinding support to ensure guests reach their intended destinations with ease
  • Provide timely communication with lead and management to report any issues that may arise
  • Assist patrons with coat and luggage check services
