Job Requirements
- At least 21 years of age
- Commercial Pilot Certificate with Multi-Engine and Instrument Ratings
- English Proficiency Endorsement on Airman Certificate
- Current FAA First Class Medical Certificate
- Proof of U.S. work authorization or U.S. citizenship
- Hold FCC Radiotelephone Operator's Permit
- Valid Passport or travel documents for multiple U.S. entries
- Availability to work any day including nights, weekends and holidays
- Meet FAR 61.159 experience requirements
- Completion of SkyWest-approved CTP course when applicable
Job Qualifications
- Be at least 21 years of age
- Hold a Commercial Pilot Certificate with Multi-Engine and Instrument Ratings
- English Proficiency Endorsement (EPE) on Airman Certificate
- Hold a current FAA First Class Medical Certificate
- Be a U.S. citizen or able to show proof of right to work in the U.S.
- Hold FCC Radiotelephone Operator's Permit
- Have a current Passport or other travel documents enabling free travel in and out of the U.S.
- Must be available to work any day, including nights, weekends and holidays
- Be within three months of the minimum hour requirements
- Meet experience requirements of FAR 61.159 prior to employment
- SkyWest-approved CTP course completion for qualifying applicants
Job Duties
- Assist the Pilot-in-Command in conducting the flight safely and efficiently
- Assist the PIC and/or passenger service personnel as needed to ensure a prompt departure
- Assist or relieve the PIC in manipulation of the flight controls of an aircraft while underway, including taxiing, takeoff and landing of such aircraft
- Adhere to all FAA regulations and airline operational procedures
- Perform pre-flight planning and inspections to ensure aircraft readiness
- Communicate effectively with air traffic control and ground personnel
- Maintain awareness of weather conditions and adjust flight operations accordingly
