Job Requirements
- Be at least 21 years of age
- Hold a commercial pilot certificate with multi-engine and instrument ratings
- Possess English proficiency endorsement on airman certificate
- Hold a current FAA first class medical certificate
- Be a U.S. citizen or able to show proof of right to work in the U.S.
- Hold FCC radiotelephone operator's permit
- Have a current passport or other travel documents enabling multiple re-entry to the U.S.
- Be willing to work any day, seven days a week, including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Be within three months of the minimum hour requirements
- Meet experience requirements of FAR 61.159 prior to employment
- Have a minimum of 250 PIC hours of fixed wing if counting helicopter or glider time
- Hold a first class medical
- Be willing to fly assigned schedule based on pilot bidding seniority

- Hold FCC radiotelephone operator's permit
- Have a current passport or travel documents enabling multiple U.S. re-entry
- Be available to work any day, including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Meet minimum flight hour requirements as per FAR 61.159
- Be within three months of minimum hour requirements detailed by SkyWest
- Meet experience requirements for pilot applicants including fixed-wing PIC hours
- Successfully complete the SkyWest-approved CTP course after application and interview
Job Duties
- Assist the pilot-in-command in conducting the flight safely and efficiently
- Assist the PIC and/or passenger service personnel as needed to ensure a prompt departure
- Assist or relieve the PIC in manipulation of the flight controls of an aircraft while underway, including taxiing, takeoff and landing
- Adhere to all FAA regulations and SkyWest operational standards
- Coordinate with air traffic control and ground personnel for flight clearance and support
- Conduct thorough pre-flight and post-flight inspections and document findings
- Maintain communication with crew and passengers to ensure safety and comfort
