Job Requirements
- Must possess an Airline Transport Pilot Certificate with appropriate Aircraft Type Rating
- Obtain and maintain an FAA First Class Medical
- 2,500 hours total fixed wing
- 500 hours multi-engine fixed wing
- 500 hours Pilot-in-Command fixed wing
- 100 hours turbojet
- 3 years of aviation experience
- Must be able to work flexible schedules
- Willing and able to travel worldwide extensively without any restrictions
- Must have a valid driver’s license
Job Qualifications
- Airline Transport Pilot Certificate with appropriate Aircraft Type Rating
- Valid FAA First Class Medical Certificate
- Minimum 2,500 total fixed wing flight hours
- At least 500 hours multi-engine fixed wing flight
- Minimum 500 hours Pilot-in-Command on fixed wing
- Minimum 100 hours turbojet flight time
- At least 3 years aviation experience
- Valid driver’s license
- Ability to communicate clearly and concisely in written and verbal formats
- Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
- Proactive problem-solving abilities
- Commitment to Jet Aviation values of trust, honesty, alignment, and transparency
- College degree preferred
Job Duties
- Supports the Pilot-in-Command with safe conduct of the flight
- Ensures compliance with company-wide reporting protocols and promptly reports any hazardous events
- Develop the leadership skills, knowledge, judgment and technical ability required of a Pilot-in-Command if not already qualified
- Maintain a complete working knowledge of all authorized aircraft systems including emergency systems and procedures
- Secure the aircraft after each flight including arranging hangar storage as necessary
- Obtain and analyze current weather reports, forecasts and NOTAMS
- File or ensure filing of flight plans with FAA or ICAO state ATC
- Analyze area, enroute and terminal charts for intended landing and alternates
- Perform TSA Flight Security Coordinator functions as applicable
- Conduct passenger safety briefings
- Perform additional duties assigned by the Pilot-In-Command
- Represent Jet Aviation internally and externally with industry groups, regulatory bodies, and the General Dynamics network
