Job Requirements

Possess an Airline Transport Pilot Certificate with appropriate Aircraft Type Rating
Obtain and maintain an FAA First Class Medical
Have at least 2500 hours total fixed-wing flight time
Have at least 500 hours multi-engine fixed-wing flight time
Have at least 500 hours Pilot-in-Command fixed-wing flight time
Have at least 100 hours turbojet flight time
Have a minimum of 3 years aviation experience
Ability to work flexible schedules
Willing and able to travel worldwide extensively without restrictions
Possess a valid driver's license

Job Qualifications

Airline Transport Pilot Certificate with appropriate Aircraft Type Rating
FAA First Class Medical certificate
Minimum 2500 hours total fixed-wing flight time
Minimum 500 hours multi-engine fixed-wing flight time
Minimum 500 hours Pilot-in-Command fixed-wing flight time
Minimum 100 hours turbojet flight time
At least 3 years of aviation experience
Strong communication skills both written and verbal
Ability to work as part of a team with excellent interpersonal skills
College degree preferred
Demonstrated commitment to integrity, discretion, and confidentiality
Ability to be proactive and seek out answers and resources

Job Duties

Support the Pilot-in-Command with safe conduct of the flight
Ensure compliance with company-wide reporting protocols and promptly report any hazardous events
Develop leadership skills, knowledge, judgment, and technical ability required of a Pilot-In-Command if not already qualified
Maintain complete working knowledge of all aircraft systems including emergency systems and procedures
Secure the aircraft after each flight including arranging hangar storage as necessary
Obtain current weather reports, forecasts, and NOTAMS from authorized agencies
File or cause a flight plan to be filed with FAA or ICAO state ATC facility
Analyze area, enroute, and terminal charts for intended landing airports and alternates
Perform functions of TSA Flight Security Coordinator under applicable security programs
Conduct required passenger safety briefings
Carry out additional duties assigned by the Pilot-In-Command
Represent Jet Aviation with industry groups, regulatory bodies, and the General Dynamics network as one company internally and externally
