Job Requirements

  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • must hold a valid commercial pilot license
  • valid medical certificate
  • minimum of 1500 flight hours
  • strong understanding of federal aviation regulations and procedures
  • ability to work flexible schedules including nights weekends and holidays
  • excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills under pressure

Job Qualifications

  • commercial pilot license or equivalent certification
  • valid medical certificate as required by aviation authorities
  • experience in multi-crew cockpit environments
  • knowledge of federal aviation regulations and safety standards
  • strong communication and teamwork skills
  • ability to operate and monitor modern aircraft systems

Job Duties

  • perform as second in command in the transport of passengers mail freight or other commercial purposes
  • comply with federal aviation regulations company flight procedures and company policies on scheduled flights and routes to ensure safety of flight
  • assist pilot in command with all flight operations duties
  • monitor aircraft instruments and systems during flight to detect any abnormalities
  • communicate effectively with flight crew ground control and air traffic control
  • participate in pre-flight and post-flight inspections and checklists
  • manage emergency procedures and respond appropriately to in-flight situations
