Job Duties
- Handling a high volume of incoming calls, initiating outgoing calls and taking messages
- Scheduling patient visits and evaluations for multiple locations while adhering to clinical protocols
- Multitasking between several different technology systems to complete day-to-day work
- Collecting and entering all necessary demographic, clinical, billing, and insurance information from patients or responsible parties
- Responding to questions and concerns of callers and directing them to appropriate location or department as needed
- Assembling patient packets and mailing information to patients
- Providing patient education by explaining preparation and patient instructions for the scheduled procedure
- Exceeding patients’ expectations with active listening, effective communication, and empathy
