Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- At least four years of cooking or comparable work experience preferred
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Computer proficiency
- Ability to work evening shifts
- Ability to follow strict food safety and sanitation guidelines
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Good interpersonal skills to collaborate with leadership and team members

Job Duties
- Accurately assemble trays according to prescribed diets in a timely manner
- Accurately prepare food items according to standard production orders and/or recipes and complete frozen food production orders as assigned
- Demonstrate standard procedures for preparing meals for service
- Properly process diet orders and menus
- Run all required reports from nutrition software
- Prepare food inventory and requisitions in an accurate and clear manner
- Accurately follow instructions and guidelines for the proper storage of food and supplies
- Properly operate, sanitize, and maintain equipment in the work area
- Demonstrate the correct services in cleaning and dish-washing procedures
- Accept assigned duties in a cooperative manner
- Comply with policies and adapt to change in the unit as required
